TNFRP Purification Technician II (Weekend Overnights) (Biotechnology)

Location: On-site in Coralville, Iowa, United States. Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

What you will do

• Operate HPLCs and apply organic chemistry techniques to produce high-quality oligos.
• Use liquid-handling robots and customized laboratory equipment for high-throughput production.
• Process and transfer quality products for customer use.
• Organize and prioritize laboratory workflow according to management direction.
• Troubleshoot process and instrument issues, report problems, and follow up on work orders.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Prior IDT synthesis experience.
• Ability to perform work involving standing, walking, lifting, repetitive hand movements, and close visual inspection.
• Ability to work on-site during the specified Friday-through-Sunday overnight schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP.
• Experience with Excel, Outlook, and Power BI.
• Experience using and troubleshooting liquid-handling robots.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
