Production Technician (Biopharma Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Operate general manufacturing equipment for Flublok drug substance production in downstream processing and buffer preparation.
• Perform aseptic sampling, including environmental monitoring, WFI, purified water, and clean steam sampling.
• Prepare, operate, maintain, clean, and sanitize stainless-steel vessels, transfer lines, pumps, tube welders, tube sealers, and other ancillary equipment.
• Execute centrifugation, depth filtration, chromatography column purification and packing, tangential flow filtration, CIP, and SIP activities.
• Prepare workspaces and biosafety cabinets, perform preventive maintenance and changeovers, and support troubleshooting.
• Review production records, analyze manufacturing data, report deviations and CAPAs, and collaborate with other departments on quality issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma with at least one year of work experience, or a bachelor’s degree with no prior experience.
• Knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and SOPs.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.
• Good documentation, communication, social, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to stand for several hours, bend, squat, reach, and lift, push, or pull up to approximately 50 pounds.
• Ability to work onsite with flexible start times, second or split shifts, extended hours, weekends, holidays, and occasional 50+ hour workweeks.

Nice to have

• Training in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
