SAP Lead Test Engineer (SAP S/4HANA)

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid working across company offices, client sites, and home; working from home 100% of the time is not permitted. Flexibility to travel to various project locations is required. Security Check (SC) clearance requires five consecutive years of UK residency, with no single absence exceeding 28 days.

What you will do

• Design and implement automation test strategies and plans for SAP applications and integrations.
• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA automation testing across SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using enterprise testing platforms.
• Integrate automation assets into CI/CD pipelines and manage them in Git repositories.
• Lead and mentor automation engineers while collaborating with developers, analysts, stakeholders, and test managers.
• Manage defects, test life cycles, reporting, and documentation for SIT and UAT.

Requirements

• Good experience testing SAP S/4HANA and related business processes, including HR, procurement, finance, materials management, or supply chain.
• Expertise with automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Selenium, Worksoft Certify, UFT, or TestComplete.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, ALM/Quality Center, or qTest.
• Experience leading teams, mentoring colleagues, managing risks and issues, and producing test metrics and reports.
• Eligibility for UK Security Check (SC) clearance and continuous UK residency for the previous five years are required.

Nice to have

• ISTQB or ISEB software testing certification at Foundation level or above, or willingness to obtain one.
