Manager, ETCH Customer Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Pyeongtaek-NF Summit and Hwaseong-Lucestar, South Korea. Onsite role with approximately 20% travel.

What you will do

• Forecast financial, workforce, and operational requirements for startup, warranty, service agreement, and paid service activities.
• Manage system startups, local inventories, RMA procedures, warranty costs, and service agreement opportunities.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, system performance, guaranteed uptime, and timely escalation of system downtime.
• Interview, hire, train, and develop customer engineers while setting goals and career development plans.
• Promote safety practices, quality improvement, reduced cycle times, and continuous technical performance improvement.

Requirements

• In-depth understanding of concepts, theories, and principles within the relevant job family.
• Understanding of the semiconductor industry and how customer engineering contributes to business objectives.
• Ability to manage a team and adapt plans to service and operational challenges.
• Ability to resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems.
• Ability to guide and influence internal or external stakeholders.
