Senior AEM Developer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$160,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and develop AEM Sites components, templates, content fragments, OSGi services, Sling models, servlets, and Java backend logic.
• Build front-end experiences with HTL, JavaScript, modern build tools, and headless or hybrid delivery patterns using GraphQL.
• Develop and migrate implementations on AEM as a Cloud Service, including CI/CD pipelines with Cloud Manager, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Develop AEM Assets workflows, DAM customizations, metadata schemas, and integrations with Adobe Experience Cloud and external systems.
• Implement personalization, A/B testing, targeted content delivery, and performance improvements for high-traffic sites.
• Troubleshoot production issues across author, publish, and Dispatcher tiers while collaborating with authors, designers, product owners, and infrastructure teams.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States; eligible candidates include U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates.
• New H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of AEM development experience with production experience in AEM as a Cloud Service or AEM 6.5.
• Deep expertise in Java, OSGi, Sling, HTL, AEM architecture, modern JavaScript, build tools, CI/CD, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Content Fragments, GraphQL APIs, headless delivery, and strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Adobe Certified AEM Developer credentials.
• Experience with Edge Delivery Services and Franklin/HLX.
• Familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform.
• Experience with multi-region or multi-brand AEM deployments and commerce integrations such as Magento or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
