Manager AI Controls Operation (AI)

Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada; hybrid workplace with specific in-office days each month.

Annual base salary: $101,100–$211,600 CAD.

What you will do

• Lead the AI Control Integration and AI Control Engineering groups.
• Manage integration, deployment, and project execution across the delivery lifecycle.
• Translate leadership direction into delivery plans, schedules, priorities, and capacity forecasts.
• Coordinate escalations, cross-functional handoffs, deployment readiness, and stakeholder communication.
• Track KPIs, dashboards, timelines, risks, and performance reports for leadership.
• Develop AI-driven tools, process improvements, automation solutions, and standardized deployment practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, building, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in building automation, controls, HVAC systems, or technical deployment environments.
• At least 2 years of experience leading technical teams, including mentoring team leads or senior specialists.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, BMS architectures, building controls frameworks, commissioning, and controls troubleshooting.
• Experience with building data integration and mapping or tagging standards such as Haystack or Brick.
• French-English bilingualism is required, including full professional English proficiency for daily written and oral communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with Git-based workflows, automation, or data pipelines.
