Postdoctoral Research Associate (Neuroscience)

Location: Bryan, Texas, United States. Full-time staff position; weekend, after-hours, and travel requirements may apply.

What you will do

• Conduct research projects in neuroscience, pharmacology, or a related field under general supervision.
• Analyze research data, summarize results, and maintain the research worksite.
• Write and contribute to research papers, articles, reports, and grant applications.
• Prepare presentations and technical progress reports for research sponsors.
• Mentor or supervise student and graduate researchers working on related projects.
• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.

Requirements

• PhD in neuroscience, pharmacology, or a related area.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Presentation and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Availability for occasional weekend or after-hours work and required travel.
• Employment is grant funded and future employment may depend on continued funding.

Nice to have

• Expertise in electrophysiology, neural circuit analysis, molecular biology, imaging, or biochemistry techniques.
