Assistant Vice President, Deal and Cash Operations

Location: Los Angeles, United States

Base salary: $125,000–$185,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus incentives and benefits.

hirify.global is a credit manager within Brookfield’s global investment platform, investing across credit, equity, and real estate through an opportunistic, value-oriented, and risk-controlled approach.

What you will do

• Translate private deal documents into accurate accounting records and maintain deal activity in the accounting system.
• Record investment proceeds, credit events, reorganizations, amendments, exits, and other investment lifecycle events.
• Process cash movements through complex legal entity structures and support deal funding and transaction closings.
• Position cash, stage FX orders, hedge currency risk, forecast balances, and prevent overdrafts across multiple currencies.
• Coordinate with investment teams, fund accounting, auditors, custodians, administrators, and counterparties.
• Lead process improvements, establish SLAs and KPIs, manage resources, develop team members, and document procedures.

Requirements

• 9–11 years of relevant experience in asset management, investment banking, or financial services.
• Investment accounting and operations experience with private credit, real assets, syndicated loans, private equity, or asset-backed finance.
• Experience processing transactions, credit activity, and accounting entries in Advent Geneva and Global World Investor.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, charts, and formulas.
• Experience with complex fund and deal entity structures, process improvement, quantitative analysis, and operational risk mitigation.
• Bachelor’s degree required; CPA certification with private deal experience is strongly preferred.

• Experience with SharePoint, Power BI, SQL, and VBA.
