ROV Supervisor (Marine Robotics)

What you will do

• Direct and supervise ROV operations, ensuring project objectives, safety protocols, and operational procedures are followed.
• Plan and execute subsea projects with project managers, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead, mentor, train, and assess ROV technicians, senior pilot technicians, and pilot technicians.
• Maintain ROV systems and instrumentation, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide subject-matter expertise.
• Manage offshore operations, emergencies, inspections, audits, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Work with research and development teams to evaluate emerging technologies in underwater robotics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of systems engineering experience focused on ROVs, USVs, or marine robotics.
• Leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
• Technical proficiency in mechanical design, control systems, sensor integration, and underwater vehicle dynamics.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations for underwater robotics, including API, ISO, and ABS.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and proactive technical troubleshooting skills.
