Quality Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Aberdeen, South Dakota, United States; onsite. Domestic travel may be required up to 10%. Relocation may be authorized.

Salary: $188,251–$230,084 annually, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Lead quality operations and advise plant leadership on quality strategy, priorities, and operating plans.
• Set direction, allocate resources, and maintain accountability for the quality function.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and customer service to ensure product conformance with design requirements.
• Reduce customer complaints, cost of quality, and regulatory risks through continuous improvement.
• Advance quality-at-the-source practices and implement engineering controls that reduce human error.
• Oversee FAA PMA operations and supervise personnel authorized to issue Authorized Release Documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed and verified before starting.
• At least seven years of plant quality and/or manufacturing operations experience.
• At least two years of supervisory and/or managerial experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and high-performance team management capabilities.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Five years of experience leading internal and external ISO audits.
• Experience with strategic and organizational development, operational excellence, lean implementation, and financial accounting.
• Understanding of principle-based leadership and related behaviors.
