Senior Network Security Engineer

What you will do

• Design, implement, administer, and support enterprise network infrastructure and security solutions.
• Manage Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls, GlobalProtect VPN, network security policies, and access control lists.
• Perform firewall deployments, migrations, rule reviews, policy conversions, and cloud firewall administration.
• Design LAN, WAN, wireless, VPN, cloud, hybrid network, segmentation, and access-control architectures.
• Monitor infrastructure and security events, troubleshoot complex network and cybersecurity incidents, and conduct risk assessments.
• Maintain high-availability and disaster recovery solutions, documentation, standards, and network diagrams while mentoring technical teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of IT infrastructure and security experience, including 3–5 years with enterprise security technologies and NIST-based frameworks.
• Extensive experience with enterprise networks, cybersecurity environments, Palo Alto Firewalls, Check Point Firewalls, GlobalProtect VPN, cloud networking, and network security administration.
• Experience creating and maintaining network topology and infrastructure diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• PCNSE, CISSP, CCNP, or CCIE certification.
• Experience with enterprise security architecture, Zero Trust networking, IAM, vulnerability management, SecOps, AWS or Azure security, data center networking, and infrastructure modernization.
