Senior Software Architect - Mobile (React Native)

What you will do

• Define functional designs and application systems architecture across digital platforms.
• Develop architecture deliverables and oversee cross-platform mobile application architecture and technical priorities.
• Evaluate and deploy technologies that extend digital capabilities.
• Translate business requirements into technical direction, lead design discussions, and mentor engineering teams.
• Coordinate dependencies and determine which capabilities belong in the BFF, upstream services, or shared services.
• Support bug triage and complex fixes while ensuring security, performance, reliability, scalability, observability, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Experience leading responsive-design application development teams.
• Experience with React Native and very good knowledge of JavaScript and Git.
• Understanding of REST APIs and document request models.
• Knowledge of application, data, IT, and platform architecture.
• Ability to modernize existing systems, assess gaps, make pragmatic trade-offs, and define measurable improvement steps.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Formal education in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with design systems, code reusability, and maintainability.
• Interest in cross-platform mobile development.
• Leadership experience on strategic projects.
