Staff Engineer / Technical Lead Azure/.NET (Azure/.NET)

What you will do

• Own the architecture and technical direction of critical services and design scalable backend and cloud-native solutions.
• Lead technical investigations, proof of concepts, modernization, refactoring, and technical debt reduction.
• Translate business requirements into scalable solutions across .NET, PHP, DevOps, QA, Product, and external systems.
• Mentor engineers through design discussions, code reviews, pair programming, and technical coaching.
• Drive testing, security, observability, operational reliability, incident support, engineering standards, and documentation.
• Promote AI-assisted engineering practices to improve developer productivity and software quality.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional backend development experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem, including ASP.NET Core, .NET, Entity Framework Core, REST APIs, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Experience designing cloud-native Microsoft Azure systems with microservices, event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging, and API-first design.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Functions, App Services, Key Vault, and Application Insights.
• Experience with secure and cost-optimized cloud architecture, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, and observability.
• Strong experience with SQL Server, Cosmos DB, MongoDB, and integrations across .NET, PHP, SAP, REST/SOAP, and enterprise platforms.
• Excellent written and spoken English, plus experience mentoring engineers and leading technical reviews.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or Windsurf.
• Knowledge of clean architecture and domain-driven design.
• Experience integrating SAP or comparable enterprise platforms.
