Manager, Quality Engineering (Aerospace and Defense)

Location: Camden, Arkansas, United States; on-site role. Schedule: four 10-hour workdays per week.

What you will do

• Lead the Quality Engineering team and drive zero-defect, on-time delivery of products meeting contractual quality and performance requirements.
• Develop, implement, and measure total quality management programs and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective action for product and process non-conformances and compliance gaps.
• Define and continuously improve internal, customer, regulatory, and third-party quality requirements.
• Develop inspection planning, testing, and evaluation methods to verify product repeatability and reproducibility.
• Manage budgets, quality-team resources, customer interfaces, and selected program or project gate reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 9 years of related quality experience, or a graduate degree and at least 7 years; a degree may be replaced by 13 years of related experience.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with quality management systems and quality principles.
• At least 2 years of experience deploying and leading continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance; security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.

Nice to have

• Engineering or technical experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
• GD&T knowledge and experience with Maestro, Oracle, Power BI, or Delmia.
• Knowledge of ISO and AS9100 auditing.
• CQE or CQM/OE certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
