Sr Quality & Failure Analysis Engineering Manager

Location: Secaucus, New Jersey, United States; onsite role.

What you will do

• Lead quality engineering, failure analysis, and manufacturing assessment teams across multiple hardware development programs.
• Drive system-level and component-level root cause investigations for failures found during development, validation, manufacturing, and field deployment.
• Establish processes for failure analysis, defect tracking, corrective actions, preventive actions, quality reviews, and risk assessments.
• Partner with hardware, firmware, software, validation, manufacturing, supplier quality, and operations teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Define quality metrics and governance processes while driving defect reduction, yield improvement, reliability growth, and manufacturing process improvements.
• Present quality trends, failure analysis findings, risks, and mitigation plans to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, materials science, or a related technical discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in quality engineering, failure analysis, reliability engineering, manufacturing quality, or related technical leadership.
• Experience leading root cause investigations and corrective action programs for complex hardware products.
• Strong knowledge of failure analysis, system validation testing, manufacturing assessment, reliability engineering, quality management systems, and product qualification.
• Experience with hardware platform development, manufacturing processes, production ramp activities, and structured problem-solving tools such as 8D, FMEA, RCA, or Six Sigma.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and executive presentation skills.
