Electrical Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Nyíregyháza, Hungary. The role follows a hybrid policy with an average of 3 days per week at the assigned workplace.

Global manufacturing organization delivering large-scale factory construction, infrastructure, and sustainability projects across multiple sites.

What you will do

• Drive electrical engineering projects in collaboration with colleagues across global manufacturing sites.
• Support the design and installation of electrical systems for the existing factory in Hungary and future expansion projects.
• Provide electrical engineering expertise and project support to sites across the organization.
• Collaborate with suppliers, authorities, engineering institutes, and international stakeholders.
• Identify new technologies and integrate suitable solutions into technical standards and projects.
• Audit processes, standards, and policies, and train colleagues in electrical engineering practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with electrical setup, high-voltage or low-voltage supply, electrical protection, energy efficiency, monitoring systems, or cabling installations for international clients.
• Knowledge of international engineering design and installation standards, local regulations, and electrical automation control strategies.
• Experience working with international engineering and local design institutes.
• Advanced English communication skills at C1 level, written and verbal.
• Strong analytical, collaborative, solution-oriented, ownership, and delivery skills.

• Willingness to travel approximately 20–50 days per year.
