Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Digital Banking)

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and support highly available digital banking applications and services.
• Implement SRE practices covering monitoring, observability, alerting, automation, incident response, and production support.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Artifactory, and deployment automation.
• Develop Terraform Infrastructure as Code solutions and support applications hosted in Microsoft Azure.
• Implement Active-Active, Blue/Green, Canary, and progressive delivery architectures.
• Investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent corrective actions.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years, or equivalent combined education and experience.
• Advanced proficiency in at least one relevant programming language and experience supporting enterprise production applications.
• Experience with SRE principles, observability, monitoring, logging, alerting, performance analysis, and reliability metrics.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code technologies, CI/CD, GitLab, and Artifactory.
• Knowledge of release engineering, deployment governance, high-availability models, resiliency patterns, and Active-Active architectures.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Background in digital banking, financial services, fintech, or other mission-critical customer-facing platforms.
• Experience with distributed systems, APIs, microservices, feature flagging, disaster recovery, and progressive delivery.
• Experience working across legacy and modern technology environments.
