Accenture Construct – Community Services Intern, ANS

Location: Orlando, Florida; hybrid work with in-office attendance twice weekly, plus participation in community events, public hearings, workshops, HOA meetings, and field activities across Florida. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.

What you will do

• Research, create, and administer customer outreach initiatives focused on water conservation, emergency preparedness, and related public-service topics.
• Measure program effectiveness and create or update dashboards tracking social messaging and outreach results.
• Develop and update Community Services programs and provide customer support to representatives across Florida.
• Review utility water conservation practices and draft social messaging based on findings.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management, board members, stakeholders, and the general public.
• Provide administrative support and research for cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Academic background in communications, environmental science, water resources management, civil engineering, sustainability, public administration, public policy, or a related field.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to attend the office twice weekly are required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in office, remote, and field settings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Enrollment in a relevant graduate program.
• Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel.
• Public speaking or small-group presentation experience.
• Knowledge of government functions, Florida water conservation, water-efficient landscaping, or Florida-Friendly Landscaping.
• Experience creating programs or conducting in-person outreach initiatives.
