What you will do

• Lead cross-functional technology transfer projects from process design and scale-up through manufacturing implementation and completion.
• Act as the interface between process development or customers and manufacturing operations, ensuring scalability and manufacturability.
• Support capital investment projects by providing process documentation, flow diagrams, media and buffer lists, and critical parameter lists.
• Implement and optimize mammalian manufacturing processes at large scale, including continuous improvement and troubleshooting.
• Manage process risks, deviations, change requests, campaign reports, CMC documentation, and validation content in accordance with GMP requirements.
• Train and mentor production staff while contributing to MSAT procedures, initiatives, and technical task forces.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biotechnology, chemical engineering, or a related discipline; a PhD is preferred.
• More than five years of experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing or process development, preferably in mammalian manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of bioprocess technology and GMP requirements.
• Fluency in English and German is required.
• Strong leadership, communication, teamwork, organizational, and solution-oriented skills.
• Ability to work with customers, project organizations, manufacturing teams, and other interfaces.
