Networking Hardware Product Manager (Ethernet/IPU)

Location: Hybrid role based at an assigned Intel site in Hillsboro, Oregon, or Santa Clara, California, United States

Annual salary: $257,740–$363,860 USD

What you will do

• Define product vision, strategy, requirements, positioning, investment priorities, and multi-year roadmaps for Ethernet controllers, adapters, and IPU products.
• Own product definition and lifecycle management from concept and development through launch, production, sustaining, technology transitions, upgrades, and end of life.
• Partner with architecture, engineering, manufacturing, quality, operations, sales, marketing, and communications teams to deliver products and go-to-market plans.
• Engage strategic customers and ecosystem partners to translate networking requirements, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence into product decisions.
• Lead complex cross-functional initiatives involving technical and business tradeoffs across multiple organizations and geographies.
• Build and manage a high-performing product management team through priority setting, coaching, talent development, and succession planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 12+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, engineering, architecture, technical marketing, or a related semiconductor, networking, data center, or infrastructure technology role.
• 5+ years leading product strategy, product definition, or lifecycle management for complex hardware or hardware/software products.
• Demonstrated technical knowledge of Ethernet, NICs, Ethernet controllers and adapters, IPUs, DPUs, SmartNICs, or related data center networking technologies.
• Experience translating customer, market, and competitive requirements into product strategies, requirements, and multi-year roadmaps.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and communicating with technical, business, executive, customer, and ecosystem audiences.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related technical discipline and/or MBA.
• 15+ years of semiconductor, networking, data center, or infrastructure industry experience.
• Experience managing networking silicon, adapters, boards, platform products, or products for cloud, enterprise, edge, or embedded markets.
• Experience working with hyperscalers, cloud service providers, OEMs, ODMs, or strategic ecosystem partners.
