Principal Product Manager Hardware, Cloud Infrastructure and AI Networking

Location: Onsite, with an expectation to work primarily from an HPE office; salary information is specified for California, United States.

Salary: USD 172,000–349,000 annual base salary in California, United States. Variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Own hardware product strategy, roadmap planning, product definition, and execution for cloud providers, hyperscalers, Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers, and Neoclouds.
• Lead complex hardware and system NPI programs using expertise in hardware systems and network ASICs.
• Translate customer and market requirements into engineering product requirements and manage engineering commitments.
• Assess markets, competitors, customer opportunities, and business strategies across cloud and AI infrastructure segments.
• Develop sales and product collateral and partner with sales and marketing on go-to-market strategies.
• Build relationships with service providers, cloud customers, partners, and internal strategy, engineering, and go-to-market teams.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of product management experience in IP networking.
• Expertise in network hardware, systems, and/or network ASICs.
• Experience developing and executing complex strategies across technology domains, geographic markets, and customer groups.
• Strong analytical, prioritization, customer orientation, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to work across technical and business domains and drive execution against revenue and market-share goals.

Nice to have

• MBA or experience successfully running or growing a business.
• Networking software and hardware knowledge, including data-center and WAN protocols, network ASICs, and operating systems.
• Experience working with hyperscalers and Neoclouds in the Americas.
