FinCrime Analytics Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Luxembourg, Luxembourg; hybrid work with three days per week in-office on Tuesday, Thursday, and one additional day of choice. Extra remote time may be requested.

What you will do

• Design robust data models and pipelines for the Data Mesh layer within a federated data strategy.
• Ensure high-quality data collection and process high-volume batches for dashboards and analytical models.
• Design and implement AI-powered agentic workflows for data transformation and exploration.
• Lead cross-functional data initiatives and translate technical insights into operational improvements.
• Develop optimized features for the feature store and ensure efficient processing across large datasets.
• Simplify complex data models into efficient SQL-queryable data relations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
• High proficiency in SQL, Python, big data, distributed processing, dbt, Airflow, Spark, or similar technologies.
• Hands-on experience building ETL data pipelines.
• Fluent English communication skills required.
• Proactive approach, curiosity, ownership, and ability to work across diverse business requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with feature stores.
• Experience with graph databases.
• Machine learning engineering experience.
