Senior Spark Developer (Apache Spark)

Location: Onsite at the client site in Luxembourg, within a European institutional environment.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain data processing solutions with Apache Spark.
• Build and optimize data pipelines for large-scale processing and analytics.
• Develop and maintain data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
• Support reporting and data visualization with Power BI.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and data quality while troubleshooting data-related issues.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with Apache Spark and large-scale data processing.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and modern data platforms.
• Good experience with Power BI and reporting solutions.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data modelling.
• Experience designing and developing data pipelines, with knowledge of data quality, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Fluent English and willingness to complete a criminal background check before employment.
