Senior Data Engineer Consultant

Location: Boulevard Royal 53, Luxembourg, Luxembourg. Flexible work across the office, home, and client sites.

What you will do

• Lead client engagements and co-design data engineering solutions with clients and stakeholders.
• Build scalable data pipelines and architectures for structured and unstructured data.
• Design cloud and distributed data solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, with frameworks including Spark and Kafka.
• Develop data models and optimize relational, NoSQL, time-series, and graph database solutions.
• Implement batch, streaming, real-time integration, CI/CD, and DataOps practices.
• Develop hirify.global’s data engineering offerings, contribute to thought leadership and business development, and mentor junior and medior consultants.

Requirements

• Completed WO Master’s degree in Data Science, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field with substantial programming.
• 3–6 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent academic research.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience or strong interest in data engineering and AI-related topics, particularly in the Energy and Finance sectors.
• English fluency with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• French fluency is required.
