Operator Internship (Process Technology)

Location: Texas City, Texas, United States; onsite refinery environment

Salary: $31.89 per hour

What you will do

• Monitor, regulate, troubleshoot, and support refinery process equipment and systems.
• Learn outside field operations and process control functions alongside experienced operators.
• Gather operational data, analyze results, and assist with operational adjustments and recommendations.
• Support refinery unit startups, shutdowns, and other assigned operational activities.
• Apply refinery safety, environmental, and operational procedures in a controlled environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in the third or fourth semester of a two-year Process Technology program, or graduated from the program within the past year.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA, good academic standing, and submission of official college transcripts.
• At least 18 years old and holder of a valid driver's license.
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, climb structures and ladders over 75 feet, work in confined spaces, and use required PPE including SCBA.
