Base salary: $83,200–$114,400 USD annually. Total compensation including equity: $93,275–$132,015 USD annually.

What you will do

  • Develop test plans and programs for space flight hardware and systems.
  • Manage and conduct acceptance, qualification, and proto-flight test programs.
  • Develop automated test hardware, data acquisition systems, and test platforms.
  • Support spacecraft hardware design with a focus on design for testability and manufacturability.
  • Analyze COTS component test levels against mission environmental test requirements.
  • Contribute to engineering, test, manufacturing, and engineering-change processes and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or another technical discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in electronics test engineering, spacecraft systems engineering, or hardware development.
  • Understanding of electrical test equipment, test procedures, data acquisition systems, and instrumentation.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to program requirements.
  • For U.S. office roles, candidates must meet applicable ITAR eligibility requirements, such as U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylum status, or eligibility for required government authorizations.

Nice to have

  • Master's or PhD in software, computer, electrical, aerospace, mechanical, or another engineering discipline.
  • Understanding of satellite subsystem interaction and full-vehicle operation.
  • Programming experience in Python.
  • Experience designing hardware from concept through production.
  • Experience with vibration, shock, thermal, TVAC, or other environmental testing.
  • Experience in a hardware or spacecraft production environment.
