Maintenance Operator

What you will do

• Develop and complete planned and preventive maintenance on equipment while keeping maintenance records accurate and current.
• Train maintenance staff to build cross-functional expertise in machines, auxiliary equipment, and automation.
• Develop standard work and support the maintenance manager with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform root cause analysis for unplanned downtime and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Create and update equipment specifications with the engineering team and prepare technical equipment-status reports.
• Ensure tools, parts, work instructions, and safety practices are available for planned repairs.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance or a related technical role.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and automation systems.
• PLC programming and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to learn new technical systems.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, prioritization, time management, flexibility, and hand-eye coordination.
• Basic mathematical and logical reasoning skills; manufacturing experience is preferred.
