Senior Logistics Specialist

What you will do

• Transport materials for delivery orders to customer sites as needed.
• Enforce transportation agreements and services while controlling domestic and international freight expenses.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and report logistics activities supporting the manufacturing workflow.
• Coordinate and monitor workflows, including scheduling and prioritizing activities in the assigned logistics area.
• Coordinate with internal and external customers to resolve shipping issues.
• Maintain trade compliance and support the shipment of dangerous or hazardous goods when applicable.

Requirements

• Experience coordinating transportation, freight, shipping, or logistics workflows.
• Knowledge of export controls, trade compliance, and transportation agreements.
• Ability to coordinate schedules, priorities, reporting, and interactions with internal and external customers.
• Ability to maintain compliance with ISO 9000, IATA, OSHA, DOT, FAA, and FDA guidelines.

• Experience handling dangerous or hazardous goods shipments.
