2027 Accounting / Finance Intern

Location: Long Beach, CA, or Denver, CO; in-person orientation, program kickoff, and final presentation travel required

Hourly pay: $23.50–$30.00 USD

What you will do

• Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting activities.
• Prepare, organize, and analyze financial data and reports.
• Support finance and accounting projects aligned with team and business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and streamline routine activities.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners while participating in meetings, training, and professional development activities.
• Complete assigned deliverables accurately and on schedule.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university, preferably studying Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in finance, accounting, financial analysis, or related business functions.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively and learn new processes, systems, and tools.
• Must meet U.S. Government ITAR eligibility requirements: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Previous internship, coursework, academic project, or other relevant experience in finance, accounting, business, or data analysis.
• Experience using Excel or other tools to organize, analyze, or present data.
• Interest in process improvement, automation, reporting, or financial analysis.
