Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Durham, NC, United States; on-site work in the facility. Must be available for a 2-2-3 day shift: 6:45am–7:00pm or 6:45pm–7:00am.

Salary: $27.00–$38.32 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain production equipment and high-speed trading card packaging machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment failures.
• Maintain and repair die cutters, presses, inserting machines, folders, conveyors, bindery equipment, and related machinery.
• Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, diagrams, manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
• Repair or reproduce parts using welders, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, surface grinders, and other machine-shop equipment.

Requirements

• Seasoned maintenance mechanic experience with complex equipment and machinery.
• Ability to install, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, align, test, and maintain industrial equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and machine-control systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, sketches, and manufacturer specifications.
• Ability to perform precise alignment, measurement, pressure, flow, geometry, and shop-mathematics calculations.
• Ability to work the required 2-2-3 day shift schedule at the Durham facility.
