Operations Research Analyst I

Location: Remote; supports U.S. Navy Maritime Electronic Warfare Systems Division programs.

What you will do

• Provide technical, analytical, and lifecycle support for electronic warfare, decoy, and SEWIP systems.
• Apply mathematical, scientific, engineering, and analytical methods to complex operational and organizational challenges.
• Gather, validate, organize, and analyze large datasets for planning, forecasting, resource allocation, scheduling, and performance measurement.
• Develop mathematical and analytical models, simulations, and what-if analyses to evaluate system performance and operational changes.
• Analyze logistics, supply chain, transportation, distribution, reliability, maintainability, and operational processes.
• Translate analytical findings into recommendations, reports, visualizations, and decision-support products for technical and program leadership.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Secret security clearance.
• Experience applying operations research techniques such as simulation, linear and nonlinear programming, dynamic programming, queuing models, stochastic-process models, and analytic hierarchy processes.
