Senior SEO Manager

Location: United States; compensation is organized across US pay zones, including Bay Area, NYC and Seattle Metro, and additional US states.

Salary: $129,200–$161,500 for US Zone 4, $138,800–$173,500 for US Zone 3, and $149,600–$187,000 for US Zone 2 per year.

What you will do

• Define and execute SEO and organic discovery strategies across web search, AI search, and emerging platforms.
• Prioritize SEO roadmaps covering content, technical, and programmatic initiatives.
• Partner with SEO Content, organic social, and paid media teams to improve discovery, engagement, and conversion.
• Lead technical SEO initiatives covering indexing, site performance, structured data, crawl optimization, site architecture, and user experience.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Content teams to embed SEO best practices into workflows and platform development.
• Build reporting for visibility, traffic, engagement, and conversion, and communicate insights to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience managing SEO programs in-house for large-scale websites, marketplaces, or platforms.
• Experience leading technical SEO initiatives with engineering teams.
• Experience with SEO and data platforms such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, Looker, Tableau, and Google Analytics.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and deliver measurable SEO impact.
• Must be able to work within the United States pay-zone structure.

Nice to have

• Experience optimizing app stores, social platforms, marketplaces, or other discovery surfaces beyond web search.
• Experience with AI-driven search tools and optimization methods.
• Experience with large content catalogs, programmatic page generation, international or multilingual websites, and localization strategy.
• Experience using SQL, Python, or BI tools for analysis and experimentation.
