Junior Thermal Power Engineer

Location: Tampa, FL, United States. This is an in-office role, with remote work available when needed; willingness to travel and work onsite, including at remote locations, is required.

What you will do

• Support senior engineers and design engineers in creating solutions for thermal power and energy projects.
• Prepare technical reports, client presentations, detailed design materials, and project deliverables.
• Support the preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications.
• Coordinate with technicians and engineers in a multidisciplinary project environment.
• Engage directly with clients and take on project responsibility.
• Gain practical onsite experience while working on assignments related to the energy sector.

Requirements

• Recent or upcoming university or college graduate with little or no professional experience and relevant skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering is preferred.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Understanding of engineering and business fundamentals as applied to engineering projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, interpersonal, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite, including at remote locations. An official or unofficial academic transcript must be submitted with the application.
