Supplier Lead (Aerospace)

Location: Hybrid – Tewkesbury, United Kingdom; regular travel to supplier locations within the assigned region and occasional travel to other hirify.global sites is required.

What you will do

• Manage relationships with assigned suppliers and serve as the primary contact between suppliers and internal Supply Chain teams.
• Monitor supplier performance, conduct surveillance, and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Manage purchase order delivery information and expedite deliveries when required.
• Lead root cause investigations, corrective actions, problem-solving, and supplier recovery initiatives.
• Support supplier selection, supplier development, supply chain planning, and New Product Introduction activities.
• Drive improvements in quality, cost, delivery, and lead-time performance across functions, cultures, and regions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
• Up to 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Working knowledge of procurement processes, contractual requirements, business systems, and supply chain operations.
• Experience managing supplier performance or supporting supplier development activities.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including regular supplier visits.

Nice to have

• Engineering or technical background.
• Project or Program Management experience.
• Professional certification in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or Program Management.
• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Aerospace experience, procurement and contractual law knowledge, supplier negotiation experience, or New Product Introduction experience.
