Senior Controller (Manufacturing)

Location: Claremont, North Carolina, United States; full-time, on-site

A global manufacturer of energy and telecommunications cable systems, optical fibers, copper cables, and connectivity solutions.

What you will do

• Analyze manufacturing costs and variances to provide financial insights and forecasts.
• Lead plant budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning, including ROI analysis, expenditure tracking, and investment justification.
• Partner with plant leadership and cross-functional operations, commercial, and supply chain teams to improve productivity, reduce costs, and meet budget commitments.
• Oversee inventory controls and product costing while maintaining accurate cost standards.
• Manage timely month-end close activities, financial reporting, audit support, and compliance with corporate accounting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial controlling.
• Experience with SAP and capital budget coordination.
• Availability to work full-time on-site in Claremont, North Carolina.

Nice to have

• CPA, CGMA, or CMA professional certification.
