Operational Excellence Manager (Lean Six Sigma)

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; hybrid work arrangement.

What you will do

• Partner with business teams to identify, assess, and prioritize improvement opportunities aligned with customer, operational, financial, and control objectives.
• Build and manage a pipeline of Lean Six Sigma and operational excellence initiatives, from rapid improvement activities to complex Black Belt projects.
• Lead end-to-end DMAIC projects, analyze process and performance data, and identify root causes to support fact-based decisions.
• Facilitate workshops using process mapping, value stream analysis, root cause analysis, hypothesis testing, capability analysis, and solution design.
• Develop business cases and implementation plans, track risks and dependencies, and matrix-lead cross-functional teams.
• Identify automation, workflow, process mining, low-code, and AI-enabled opportunities while embedding controls, compliance, data privacy, and audit readiness.

Requirements

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification and proven experience leading complex, end-to-end DMAIC improvement projects.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, business transformation, process improvement, or a similar field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience operating at Black Belt level.
• Practical knowledge of DMAIC, process mapping, root cause analysis, value stream analysis, hypothesis testing, process capability, and control planning.
• Experience mentoring Yellow Belts, Green Belts, or project teams.
• Experience with automation and digital improvement opportunities, including RPA, workflow optimization, process mining, low-code solutions, and AI, preferably in a large international or matrix organization.
