Intern, Infectious Disease Epidemiology (Vaccines)

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States; full-time summer internship from June 7, 2027 to August 20, 2027. The role follows a 70/30 in-office work model. Candidates must be available for the entire program and must already hold U.S. work authorization. Only U.S. persons eligible under export control requirements may apply.

Salary: $20.00–$60.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Support clinical trial conduct and post-marketing observational research for vaccine development.
• Lead epidemiologic analyses of infectious disease burden and related health outcomes.
• Design studies, analyze data, and interpret epidemiologic results.
• Communicate findings through data visualizations, reports, and presentations.
• Collaborate with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, HEOR, and Real-World Evidence Analytics teams.
• Contribute to evidence-generation strategies and research priorities for infectious disease programs.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a PhD or ScD program in Epidemiology or a closely related discipline.
• Strong background in epidemiology and biostatistics.
• Experience with SAS, R, STATA, or similar tools is beneficial.
• Existing U.S. work authorization is required; future immigration sponsorship is not available.
• Applicants must qualify as U.S. persons for applicable export control requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and compliance.
