Associate Financial Analyst, External Reporting - A&F Co.

Location: Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio, United States. Mondays and Fridays are work-from-anywhere days for most roles, with six additional work-from-anywhere weeks per year.

What you will do

• Prepare SEC filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, proxy statements, financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and XBRL tagging.
• Gather, organize, and evaluate source documentation to support accurate public disclosures.
• Assist with stock-based compensation accounting, forecasting, and weighted-average share calculations.
• Prepare investor presentations and schedules supporting earnings releases.
• Assist with annual audits and quarterly reviews while researching and documenting technical accounting conclusions.
• Partner with departments across the company to improve reporting processes, disclosure controls, and internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least one year of accounting experience; public accounting experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional partners.
• Strong attention to detail, curiosity about financial data, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Self-starter mentality, creative problem-solving skills, and a collaborative, optimistic approach.
