Location: Brooklyn, New York, United States. The role is primarily office-based, with remote work available when needed.

Salary: $27–$32.

What you will do

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses, including economic and fiscal impact studies, benefit-cost analysis, and climate-change-related assessments.
• Prepare feasibility analyses, market studies, socio-economic analyses, and case-study research for urban development, infrastructure, real estate, transportation, energy, and economic development projects.
• Support urban design, zoning, land-use planning, and environmental engineering studies.
• Contribute to project development and design by assessing impacts to air, noise, soil, water, and waste and identifying applicable environmental legislation and standards.
• Collect baseline environmental data, perform modeling, and prepare technical reports on air quality, noise, groundwater, soil contamination, and surface water.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and global colleagues to prepare high-quality project deliverables.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in economics, urban planning, architecture, urban design, landscape architecture, environmental engineering, environmental science, environmental studies, environmental planning, or a related field.
• Knowledge of urban planning, real estate, economics, land use, environmental policy, environmental science, or environmental engineering.
• Quantitative skills and experience with financial, real estate, economic, environmental, or climate-change modeling.
• Ability to research planning and environmental issues, compile information from multiple sources, and prepare reports and presentations.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; basic InDesign familiarity is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and attention to detail.
