What you will do

• Review and validate AI-generated research questions for scientific meaningfulness, tractability, and novelty.
• Refine question ranking criteria based on complexity, originality, and relevance.
• Assess AI-produced Dynamic Research Objects (DROs) for mathematical soundness, consistency, and alignment with physical principles.
• Identify errors, gaps in reasoning, and workflow limitations in the AI system.
• Provide feedback to improve the AI Physicist's architecture and capabilities.

Requirements

• Work in quantum information theory, QEC, or closely related areas.
• Strong theoretical and mathematical grounding.
• Curious but skeptical about AI-assisted research; value rigor, clarity, and intellectual honesty.
• Comfortable with exploratory, incomplete results.
• Typical profiles: late-stage PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, early-career faculty, or industry researchers with strong theoretical backgrounds.
