Environmental Markets Analyst (Renewable Natural Gas)

What you will do

• Analyze large operational datasets supporting RNG production and environmental credit generation.
• Monitor facility performance with Power BI and other operational data visualization tools.
• Perform data reconciliation, trend analysis, root-cause analysis, and data-quality investigations.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly regulatory reports and meet reporting deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, environmental credit generation, and profitability.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, planning teams, auditors, and regulatory stakeholders; support site visits and lead cross-functional projects.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong data analysis experience, including advanced Excel and work with large, complex datasets.
• Experience with data reconciliation, data-quality analysis, trend analysis, and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to identify inaccurate, missing, incomplete, or abnormal operational data and investigate operational issues.
• Experience using data analysis to identify profitability or process-optimization opportunities.
• Ability to lead projects, work across cross-functional teams, and consistently meet monthly reporting deadlines.

Nice to have

• Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a similar technical or process background.
• Plant, manufacturing, energy, or facility operations experience.
• Experience with Power BI, PI System, PI Vision, Power Apps, or similar tools.
• Experience with environmental markets, environmental compliance, carbon credits, or RNG.
• Previous experience as a Process Engineer, Commercial Analyst, Financial Analyst, Environmental Specialist, or Operations Scheduler.
