Escrow Officer (In Office)

Location: In office at either Port St. Lucie, Florida, or West Palm Beach, Florida, USA

Salary: $24.42–$32.56 per hour

What you will do

• Provide customer service and support business growth within Homebuilder Services.
• Manage simple and complex real estate escrow transactions as a neutral liaison between buyers, sellers, and lenders.
• Coordinate with Underwriting to monitor and mitigate company risk.
• Account for and disburse funds according to contract terms.
• Review, record, and file closing documents, prepare final closing statements and title documents, and meet delivery timelines.
• Prepare escrow status reports, legal closing documents, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of escrow-related experience as an Escrow Officer, preferably in homebuilder services.
• Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, problem-solving, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to work with technology, proprietary programs, and new software applications.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
• Escrow officer certification may be required depending on the state.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
