Infrastructure Engineer (Data Center)

Location: Warsaw (Duchnice) or Gdańsk, Poland. Hybrid work model with 2 days per week in the office and 3 days remotely. Occasional travel between the Warsaw and Gdańsk locations may be required.

What you will do

• Administer, maintain, and support enterprise data center infrastructure and critical business services.
• Manage VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, clustering, lifecycle management, patching, upgrades, and migrations.
• Operate Dell server, storage, backup, and data protection platforms.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and health using platforms such as Zabbix.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage backup, recovery, disaster recovery testing, security updates, documentation, modernization, and capacity planning.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or data center operations, including 5+ years supporting enterprise data centers.
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, Dell enterprise infrastructure, storage, backup, and recovery technologies.
• Experience with Windows Server, PowerShell automation, Zabbix, security patching, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure hardening.
• Knowledge of SAN and NAS architectures, ITIL processes, ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Hyper-V, and Azure or Azure Local.
• Experience with disaster recovery testing, business continuity activities, Dell OpenManage Enterprise, and iDRAC administration.
• Very good English and Polish communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• VMware Certified Professional, Dell Technologies Proven Professional, Microsoft, or Veeam certifications.
