Senior Database Infrastructure Administrator (Oracle/SQL Server)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid workplace

Salary: 152.50–256.20 PLN per year, plus eligibility for a 10% annual bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Administer, tune, and support production and non-production databases across Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Handle incidents, service requests, changes, and vulnerability remediation through ServiceNow while following ITIL practices.
• Build and improve database monitoring and observability with Splunk, Zabbix, and OpenTelemetry-based metrics.
• Automate database patching and provisioning using Ansible, GitHub, NinjaOne, PowerShell, shell scripting, and Python.
• Support security controls involving Imperva, Nessus, CyberArk, ISO 27001, SOX, CIS, and GDPR.
• Contribute to heterogeneous database migration projects and broader infrastructure initiatives.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of hands-on database administration across at least two of Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Strong SQL skills and practical experience with performance tuning, backup and recovery, and high availability.
• Experience with virtualized environments such as VMware/vSphere and cloud platforms including GCP, GCVE, and AWS.
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow or Jira and ITIL incident, change, and problem processes.
• Fluent English required.
• Ownership, curiosity, proactivity, and strong teamwork.

Nice to have

• Experience with heterogeneous migrations, particularly Oracle to PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
• Cloud database experience with GCP Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, or AWS RDS.
• Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL certifications.
• Experience with Splunk and Zabbix observability tooling.
• Knowledge of other European languages.
