Summer 2027 Quantitative Intern (Remote)

Location: Remote, with the role listed in Winter Haven, Florida and Charleston, South Carolina, United States. The position is remote five days a week, Monday through Friday.

Salary: $22 per hour.

What you will do

• Collaborate with the Treasury Analytics Department and gain exposure to Asset Liability Management and Current Expected Credit Losses.
• Support model development, model governance, financial data analysis, and agentic AI integration.
• Learn the Treasury Analytics model inventory and Model Risk Management Lifecycle.
• Prepare data and contribute to model training, validation, testing, and monitoring.
• Work with large databases and tools including Snowflake, Power BI, and Git.
• Contribute to department projects using R and/or Python.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, data interpretation, and transformation skills.
• Strong computer skills, including R or Python.
• Ability to collaborate, solve problems, communicate effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Finance and statistical modeling knowledge is preferred; master’s degree candidates are preferred.
