Associate Quality Engineer

Salary: $59,600–$101,200 per year, plus incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Review user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria to identify testing objectives and quality risks.
• Create and maintain test cases, test data, and test scenarios for business and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated UI and functional tests using approved frameworks and tools.
• Execute manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
• Validate application data with SQL queries and analyze test results and defects.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and quality teams in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, planning, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Relevant degree preferred; no prior professional experience is required.
• Basic understanding of software testing and software development lifecycle methodologies.
• Basic programming knowledge in Python, C#, Java, or a similar language.
• Interest in software quality engineering, test automation, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Playwright, Selenium, or similar test automation tools.
• Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, Git, web applications, APIs, HTTP, or browser developer tools.
• Understanding of CI/CD, automated build pipelines, and modern software delivery practices.
