Co-Op Student Engineering (Embedded Systems)

Location: Onsite in Lowell, Massachusetts, with occasional work from home; the role is associated with hirify.global's Cambridge, Massachusetts campus.

Salary: $20.00–$45.00 per hour, base salary.

What you will do

• Support the research and development of systems, hardware, and software.
• Design and develop engineering solutions for challenging problems.
• Implement, test, and analyze solutions for low-level software and real-time embedded systems.
• Prepare documentation and generate test reports with plots, tables, evaluation criteria, and conclusions.
• Develop practical knowledge of engineering processes, equipment, facilities, and system interrelationships.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled full-time in an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering program.
• Must be able to work full-time for a six-month co-op period.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments, risks, and vulnerabilities.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
