Software Engineering Co-op (Signal Processing)

Location: Boston, MA office; full-time onsite at least 4 days per week

What you will do

• Create and test software for internal tooling used in audio product development.
• Research digital signal processing and machine learning techniques for audio products.
• Collaborate with developers and learn the software development lifecycle, continuous integration, and ticketing systems.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of audio product development.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university, preferably studying electrical engineering, computer science, acoustics, physics, or music technology.
• Academic exposure to digital signal processing concepts such as filtering and aliasing.
• Exposure to embedded concepts, including work with development boards.
• Available for the full-time co-op program from January through June 2027 and able to work from the Boston office at least 4 days per week.
• Authorized to work for any U.S. employer now and in the future; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Curious, proactive, communicative, teachable, and willing to persist with unfamiliar technical areas.

Nice to have

• Experience building audio-related academic or hobby projects.
• Interest in audio technology and musical applications.
• Comfort with Linux or command-line interfaces.
