Pega Certified Senior System Architect Trainer (1099 Contractor)

Location: Fully remote for 1099 contractors residing in any of the 50 United States; occasional travel to client sites or company meetings may be required. Work is scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST.

What you will do

• Deliver a 10-week instructor-led training program covering Pega application development, case and process logic, data modeling, integrations, and security.
• Facilitate hands-on labs in which participants configure and extend Pega applications, implement business logic, and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide live technical assistance, demonstrations, individualized feedback, and coaching.
• Conduct knowledge checks and certification-aligned activities to assess readiness for Pega Senior System Architect certification.
• Collaborate with the Certified Lead System Architect to assess progress and adjust instruction.
• Demonstrate testing, debugging, source control, and deployment practices for enterprise Pega environments.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on Pega application development experience.
• Current Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA) certification.
• Experience performing Senior System Architect-level responsibilities in enterprise Pega implementations.
• Expertise in case management, application configuration, data modeling, integrations, security, testing, debugging, and the full application lifecycle.
• Experience delivering live Pega training, hands-on labs, technical demonstrations, mentoring, or developer coaching.
• Must be eligible to work as a 1099 contractor residing in the United States and provide a W-9, proof of general liability insurance, and a certificate of insurance.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing Pega solutions in federal, financial, tax-processing, or other complex regulated environments.
• Experience preparing practitioners for Pega Senior System Architect certification.
