Commercial Finance Manager

Location: Hungary; hybrid working model with three days together and two days wherever. Offices are available in Budapest and Debrecen, and some international travel may be required.

What you will do

• Lead or support the Commercial Finance workstream within cross-functional bid response teams.
• Structure deals and ensure bids are accurately costed, priced, and aligned with BT governance policies.
• Identify, document, and communicate financial risks and commercial considerations to approval authorities.
• Work with sales, technical, service design, legal, and product specialists to develop customer proposals.
• Drive decisions on pricing strategy, delivery penalties, discounts, billing models, cash flow, foreign exchange, and termination provisions.
• Prepare briefing papers and financial analysis for senior leadership and Board-level audiences, while improving Commercial and Bid processes.

Requirements

• Part-qualified accountant or equivalent experience; relevant qualifications may include CIMA, ACCA, IIA, CISA, ACT, CTA, MCT, or IR Society Certificate.
• Broad experience across financial disciplines and strong financial and commercial acumen.
• Successful business partnering experience with senior stakeholders, including Directors and Senior Finance Business Partners.
• Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working across multiple teams and stakeholders to align plans and deliver business outcomes.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-phase solutions in a global matrix environment.
